Sometimes scary can be a very good thing. And Nyman definitely knows his stuff.

Trailer for Derren Brown’s new special, Miracles for Sale. 

I’m eagerly awaiting this special, but with a few negative emotions mixed with the excitement. I’m not looking forward to being confronted with the terrible things done in God’s name, or seeing the degree of deception Derren can pull, but I trust that the subject will be handled sensitively. It will simply be hard to see people who are eager for the truth, but so misguided. I’m thankful for anyone who aims to put those misguiding in their place.

Here’s a fun investigation into how Magic can inform Psychology. I mostly enjoyed watching a superb pickpocket and misdirector at work, and the psychology discussed in the video was lightweight but still worthwhile. To anyone who loved Derren Brown’s pickpocket routine, you’ll love this.
